Care Instructions

Like any successful and long-lasting relationship, you and your Huaraches need some time to get to know each other.

We recommend wearing them for around 1-2 hours a day for the first week. This give the leather time to expand and mould perfectly to your foot.

Putting in this ground work will ensure your feet and Huaraches stay happy and healthy.

As with any pair of leather shoes, in order to minimise wear over time we recommend using leather protector. 

We know you wont want to be separated from your Huaraches for too long, and we don’t blame you, but if you are going for a swim please leave these puppies on dry land.

COLOR

All of our Huaraches are made using vegetable tanned leather. This is not only good for the environment, but also for your feet. 

Vegetable tanned leather will fade over time, especially with bright colors. To make sure that your shoes stay brighter for longer be sure to keep them out of the sun when you are not wearing them.

Just like us, no two Huaraches are the same. As mentioned, these are handmade – there is no machine to laser guide the cutting or weaving of these shoes down to the millimetre, so each pair is very unique. We should be proud of the individuality of the color and make of our Huaraches, just as we are of ourselves.
